Kreston GCG supports the development of alternative energy in Ukraine
A new large-scale project was started in Ukraine with the participation of Kreston GCG. One of our clients – Solar Park Podgornoe, LLC – has begun construction of a 12 MW power station in the urban-type settlement Vesele (Zaporizhia Region).
The facility is constructed in the territory of an abandoned cannery. At first, there was nothing there but for piles of trash, and now it is a beautiful and nice place. Solar panels get installed at the facility now.
Solar Park Podgornoe LLC is a Ukrainian operator of solar panels, as well as a major expert in designing and installing solar power stations in Ukraine. The company has already established several solar power stations in different parts of the country. Kreston GCG, for their part, participated in the client’s business development, created a financial model and business plan to raise funding.
The new power will be a powerful impetus for developing the territory. First, it will cover the needs of more than just the urban-type settlement Vesele, but the adjacent settlements as well and provide a stable power source. The settlement’s treasury will be also replenished regularly with the money obtained from leasing land for the solar power station. Finally, the solar power plant will create new job openings for locals.
We are pleased that our efforts are used to benefit society and we hope that in the future, we can do something greater for Ukrainian entrepreneurs and the people.
